The home aims at reinforcing and restoring confidence and hope to those children, young adolescents and adults who appeared devastated in life due to utter neglect.
The home, basically encourages and reforms character,habits, interests, indicate morals, develop potential basic skills in petty trades, carpentry, music, arts, crafts, etc, which have been latent in the members.
Since inception, the Home has recorded apparent and remarkab achievements in the course of successfully reforming her pioneer members.
However, due to some financial constraints coupled with ever increasing costs, demands and responsibilities in maintaining the Home and its
members, we decided to reach out to good spirited individuals, companies, corporate bodies, philanthropic Organizations, Foundations, Charity, Churches and Religion bodies for material or
financial aid in continuity of the Home.
Sequel to this appeal for aid, money or material (children and adult wears) would be immensely appreciated from f/donors. Nothing is too small and anything given is acceptable and very useful to the Home.

Unfortunately, we are unusually busy with new requests for affiliation from the Lagos area at this time and we have already began funding quite a few children's homes and orphanages in your area. You may not find it desirable to wait this long.

Dear Sir,
I have received your email noting that you would much rather apply for your own affiliation. This will be fine. In fact, it is preferable that we do it this way.
I will submit your request to the Board of Approvals. There should be no problem with your request as the Stino Reformatory seems to be the type of organization that we often give assistance to.
As you are probably aware, to become affiliated with our church and therefore become eligible for funding and support, we will require that your organization be operated within the confines of our faith's doctrine. For this reason, we require that the top officers (usually the president and the chief financial officer) of your organization convert to our faith. This involves taking part in an induction ceremony where the inductees would receive the Holy Ring.
Normally we would hold such an induction ceremony at one of our churches here in the U.S. However, due to our rapid expansion into other parts of the world, it has become impractical to do do these ceremonies here. We now have a foreign liaison officer who travels to many of our operations to conduct these induction ceremonies. This is so that you will not have the need to travel.
I would certainly understand where you may have some concerns at this point. Changing one's religious beliefs is not something to be done without much thought. Please take the time and think this monumental decision through before you give me your final answer.
After the induction ceremony is complete and all of the paperwork has been signed and approved, your organization will become an affiliate of our church. This will make The Stino Reformatory Home an affiliate of our church and eligible for all of our spiritual and financial support it will require.
Sir, what we will require from you is the number of residents (children) presently in your home as well as your normal monthly expenditures. This is so we can estimate your general financial needs and arrive at a regular donation amount.
We will also need to know whether you wish to receive funding via cashier's check or bank transfer. If bank transfer, we will require you to open an account, either in the U.S. or Europe (preferably London) and supply us with the pertinent numbers.
Upon your organization becoming an affiliate, the donation committee will probably start you off with an initial donation of $7000 to $15,000, depending on both your needs and our resources at the time. While this may not seem like much, you may request larger amounts as required after this initial donation. However, please note that our financial support will not absolve you of the requirement to pursue alternate sources of funding. As a general rule, we cannot fund your entire operation, only give financial assistance in addition to your regular sources of funding.
I would certainly like to speak to you on the telephone as well and I will try to call you when I have the opportunity to sit down and do so.

Unfortunately I have not had the time to call you at a reasonable hour. I shall endeavor to do so at my earliest opportunity.
The induction ceremony should take place at your location. We will send our foreign liaison, Miss Ann Teaks, to your location to conduct the induction ceremony. The most important part of the ceremony will be when you and your colleagues accept the Holy Ring.
Upon completion of the ceremony, you will have been inducted into our church and The Stino Reformatory Home will become an affiliate of our church. We will then be able to provide you with the spiritual and financial support that you require.
I will submit your request for affiliation to the board of approvals. I will also recommend to the donation committee that it agree to an initial donation of $9,000 to be payable to your organization immediately upon your induction to our church.

I have been trying to find out the soonest date that Miss Teaks will be available to meet you for the induction ceremony. It seems she is quite busy at the present time and may not be able to make it to Nigeria for quite a few weeks.
I would like to know if you would be willing to carry out the induction ceremony yourself. We have done this for one other organization in Nigeria and it seemed to work out just fine.
Of course, this would be subject to the approval of the board and the ceremony you conduct would have to be well documented with photographs but it would enable us to get you affiliated in the shortest amount of time.

Dear Sir,
You have asked an important question and I thank you for that.
Basically, our foreign liaison officer would conduct a short ceremony where you would receive various paraphernalia from our religion. She will also teach you the most important beliefs about our faith. The most important part of the ceremony, however, is the part where you will receive the Holy Ring.
That part is quite simple actually. It consists of the piercing of the left nipple of the recipient (you) to accommodate a small metallic ring referred to as the Holy Ring. Again, this is the most important part of being a member of our faith as belief in the powers of the Holy Ring is the cornerstone of our religion.
The piercing of the nipple is done quite painlessly by Miss Kake or, for that matter, anyone experienced in the field of body piercing. It's actually a very common procedure.
While sending you a copy of the entire church's manual would be impractical at this point in time, I have scanned and attached a couple of pages from this manual briefly decribing the process of receiving the Holy Ring.

Thank you for your email. Your honesty is appreciated.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that we have been extremely busy with requests for funding these past few months, we have been unable to send our foreign liaison, Miss Ann Teaks to visit everyone in a timely manner.
This has resulted in huge and unacceptable delays in the funding of several of our new affiliates. This is especially true for our new inductees in much of Africa.
Because of this, we are now permitting a select few of our new inductees to conduct the most important part of the induction ceremony, the receiving of the Holy Ring, themselves.
If you believe you may be able to convince your partners to join our faith sometime in the near future, you may apply to us, as head of your organization, to receive the Holy Ring on your own.
If you wish to consider this, please let me know and I will submit your request to the board with a recommendation for approval.
Please note, however, that approval is not automatic. I can only make recommendations to the board but I have no say in its final decision.

Dear Mr. Augustine Nwagwu
Pastor Barr has asked me to give you the details of the Holy Ring. I understand that you will be conducting the ceremony yourself. Please read this email in its entirety as it contains important information.
I have located some pictures that I have attached to this email. These will help you to make sure you get the Holy Ring inserted correctly. As you can see from the photos, the Ring goes through the left nipple horizontally. This is important.
The first picture is of an example of a suitable nipple ring. Now, it doesn't have to look exactly like the one in the picture. That is just an example. While many members choose a gold or silver ring, any metal ring of appropriate size and shape will suffice.
The next two pictures show the Holy Ring properly inserted in the left nipple.
I have also included a picture of Mr. Victor Umondak of The Johnson Njoku Foundation in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Mr. Umondak has been a member of our church since late last year.
The next picture is of one of our newest members. Robin Banks has permitted us to show you her picture. It was taken on the day of her induction.
Finally, I have attached a photo of our church's founder, Mrs. Dinah Soares. The reason for this will become clear in a moment.
In your case, since Ann Teaks will not be there to conduct the ceremony at this time, we only require you to bear the Holy Ring to become a member of our church. We will also require that you choose one person who will be joining our church with you to do the same. If you are married, your wife would be a good choice.
What we will require you to do is to send us photographs of yourself and your fellow member bearing the Holy Ring. Please note that the photographs must be large and clear or they will be rejected by the donation committee. You must include a close-up photograph of the properly worn Holy Ring itself on each new member. You must also include large and clear photographs of each new member holding the picture of Mrs. Dinah Soares, as shown in Mr. Umondak's picture.
The purpose of these photographs is to show that you have inserted the Holy Ring properly.
Once the photographs have been approved by the donation committee, you will instantly become official members of our church, and your organization will be affiliated with the church. We can the commence the funding of your new church and the camp which you are operating.
One word of advice. Please have your nipple pierced professionally. It would probably be painful if you were to do it yourself and we do not want to see you injured. Joining our church should not be a painful experience. When done by a professional, the procedure is quite painless and safe.
Congratulations, Mr. Augustine Nwagwu. The donation committee must think quite highly of you to trust you to do this yourself. I have faith in you as well.
