I just got back from there. Sorry. I was a little late getting there this morning. Probably my fault.

Don't go to the bother of picking me up. I'll meet you at your office at Leidsevaartweg 99. I'll be there within an hour or so.

Sorry again for the fowl-up.

Doing a bit of research, one can verify that there is no Global Security Company at Leidsevaartweg 99 in Amsterdam. He'll either get right back to Wanda or attempt to intercept her before she gets into the building.

Dear Donald Moore,

I'm sorry. I have bad news for you. The security company you think you are dealing with doesn't exist. I went to the address they had faxed me last week. Global Security is not a tenant in that building. I personally spoke to one of the managing partners of the consulting firm, Ray and Berndtson, located at that address. He informed me that not only was Global not located there, I was the second person to ask him that question this week.

I had emailed Mr. Clement just prior to this that since we were having a difficult time getting together, I would dispense with my fears and go to their office personally. I have since received a very rude message from him not to go there and warning me never to email him again.

I immediately went back to my hotel, checked out and headed for the airport to catch the next flight back to the U.S. I am presently safely in Zurich getting ready to board my connecting flight to Chicago.

It seems that my fears about Mr. Clement were well founded. I would also suggest that if they were prepared to lie to me, then you have probably lost your money to these creeps as they have probably forced open the boxes.

I wish I had better news for both of us. I'm sorry.

Be careful. I'll contact you when I get back home.

Have you found out anything yet? Do you think you will be able to get the two boxes and their contents back? Are you safe?

You poor man. You must be devastated. Please, if you are up to it, get back to me as soon as possible.

Dear Wanda Willing,

Compliments of the day, thank God for your safely arrival at Chicago. As you stated i contacted security company this morning about this issue i was told that you failed to comply with their instruction.

James Clement said that he used his own private Fax.I asked them why they open the boxes they said that the box have stay too long at there office they later open the box infact i was cried but assure me that it will be safe hence i pay the money and the dummurrages and will get my boxes back because all the original documentation is with me in South Africa i was only sent them copy before you travel to Amsterdam. This is their duty to come and pick you up and take you to there office because of security reasons.

Now they even advise me to come down to Amsterdam but as asylum seeker i can be able to get there.Presently i thanks for your effort towards this transaction although things doesn't work out as planned. Please strive to advise me how to finalise this transaction soon.

Dear Donald Moore,

Sorry about being so late with my reply. I've been so busy trying to catch up on a backlog of work, I hadn't had the chance to check my email.

There's something you don't seem to understand. Global Security doesn't seem to exist. At least not at the address that they gave me. If they indeed do exist, why would their representative give me the wrong address? As a letterhead on their fax, no less. This obviously wasn't a typographical error that could go unnoticed. And if they're lying to me about their address, I can only assume that everything else about them is bullshit as well.

As to your question, I have no idea how you can proceed from here. I think you will be very lucky if you can retrieve the boxes with their entire contents intact but I seriously doubt this will be the case. Unless you can get this consignment intact to a legitimate security company, I have no idea how I can help you further.

Good luck.

I'm glad that you will be able to get your money away from that phony Global Security. I hope that you have verified the validity of the law firm you are using. You know, it's hard to know who to trust these days. Especially when dealing with large amounts of cash.

Dear Wanda,

Thanks for your concern towards this transaction.I spoke with my attorney this afternoon and he gave me all the assurance that the consigment will be retrieved back to South Africa.Infact I was very happy because my attorney will not travel again to holland. He is making an arrangement with the Fidelity Security company in South Africa to negotiate with them in Holland,so that they will release the box and bringing it down to South Africa

With the help of my attorney I believe that things is going to work-out fine.I will still email you again the out come of the whole arrangment. My problem at the moment is I am going to spend alots through this process. But meanwhile I have instructed my grandma to sell one of my house in liberia and send the money to me for the expences. So please do not be angry because of the money you wasted going to holland and your hotel bills because I am going to pay all the expences as soon as we retrieve the money from holland.

I will be waiting for your prompt reply.

Thanks

I am so happy to hear that it looks like everything will be alright. This must be tough on you because I know that you did not wish the funds to enter South Africa. I just hope that your attorney is able to handle things in that respect.

Please don't think that I am angry with you for what happened in Holland. Anyway, the whole trip was kind of exciting in a weird sort of way. I can hardly wait until I will be able to tell my friends about it.

Please let me know any new details when you get them.

To: Wanda Willing

Subject: Goodnews

Dear Wanda,

Thanks for your email and your understanding towards this transaction.I am sorry for my late reply while because my attorney have already secured the services of a banker for a smooth transfer of this funds out of South Africa and a meeting was arrange with the banker yesterday and this is the outcome of the whole arrangement.

The transfer was arranged by the Banker as follows: In normal Bank transfer, the source of generation of this fund will be questioned unless it can be presented and proven as fund generated in ordinary course of business so the following steps will be taken care before the transfer will be made.

1 Incorporation of a company with the registrar of company's backdated five years ago.

2. Preparing a-five years financial statements to reflect the transferable amount as being generated as profit.

3.Folding up the Company and subsequent application for transfer of the company's fund to assigned trustee for foreign investment.

On the conclussion of all this procedures then you have to come-down for the account opening in your name with the commercial bank as the trustee and you do not have to envisage any problem because the money has been issued an appropriate history that can be explained from the logistics above and thereby eliminating the risk of confiscation.

Only the transacting parties you and me and the assisting professional the attorney & banker knows the actual way the money was generated and your obligation is limited to the duty of a trustee and is not answerable to the source of the money which will be taken care of 100%.

THE TRANSFER

All arrangement and pre-requisites have to be met for Telegraphic Transfer of this fund to you as soon as we can be able to meet-up with the requirements then, the funds will however flow as an "Investment Fund" to you as "Fund Manager". This eliminates fears and risk possible as all answers to likely banking questions from the receiving bank will be provided from the "Remittance Advice" issued by South African Reserve Bank during the transfer process.

The wire transfer actualization can thereby be explained in terms of the definition of the pre-requisites and elements.

(1) Drug related clearance: For transfer of the funds above $100,000, a drug clearance has to be obtained. I have then lobbied and this pre-requisite absolves the fund from proceeds of drug related or money laundering activities.

(2) Clearance from National Treasury: This is very important, as the fund will be insured with national Insurance Corporation of South Africa (NICOSA). This pre-requisite will enable the National Treasury evaluate the foreign reserve quarterly. This has then superseded the actual history and place where the funds are generated and has made it eligible for Telegraphic Transfer on "Investment Grounds".

(3) Domestic Account: For this transfer of this volume, Domestic Banking Regulations requires that a "Non-Resident account" should be opened in any of the commercial banks here in South-Africa. The transfer will however require that you will be in South Africa for two (2) banking working days for the account opening in your name.I cannot be able to open this account because of my political statue in South Africa.

(4) Foreign Account(s): It is expected of the foreign partner to provide foreign account(s) where the fund will be remitted. This means that the total fund will be deposited into the account you will open in South Africa but actual transfer will be done Bit-by-Bit. So this is the detail report from the banker.Meanwhile, the money will be coming back to South Africa by thursday.I will be waiting for your prompt reply.

Thanks

Best Regards

Moore

Greetings,

Nothing 100% certain yet but I can probably travel there next weekend. Will this be all right?

Of course, I'll need to know what city I'll have to go to so that I can book a flight.

I'll also have to know how long this process will take so that I can book my return flight. I don't want to make a mistake here. Flights between Chicago and Johannesburg cost between $3500 and $8000. A simple mistake could be very costly financially to me.

Let me know the answers to these questions.

Dear Wanda,

Thanks for your email. I am looking forth to welcome you in South Africa. Today my attorney has already paid in US$45.000 (Forth-five Thousand United Dollars only) for the procurement of the said documents. Please you should arrange some money with you at least US10-18.000 (For the activating of the account, which you are going to opening with the commercial bank.

Because according to the banker she said that after opening the account that you should deposit at least US$10.000 into the account before depositing my fund. And I am financially down after the payment of the legal documents. Please every of the arrangement has being put in place. I will be waiting for your flight schedule.

Do I need to make reservation for you? Because this is a festival time in Durban and most of the tourist are in town which means that you need to make your reservation on time before your arrival.

Greetings,

How are you?

I was going to ask you if I should take anything with me. Looks like you already answered my question.

I've been checking on flights. It appears that flying to Durban will cost about $800 more than traveling to Johannesburg. Is there any way you can pick me up in Johannesburg? It would save me a sizable chunk of money. Keep in mind, I'm not a wealthy woman. Not yet anyway.

I may simply book the hotel room at the same time I book my flight, as a package deal. I'll let you know.

So, you can count on meeting with me Saturday. Finally. This will be great!

Please get back to me on the possibility of picking me up in Johannesburg.

One other thing. I have to be back home by Tuesday which means I'll have to leave S.A. no later than Monday. I hope your attorney will have everything ready for you for my arrival.

Faithfully yours,

Now this is an interesting development. I had considered that Donald Moore and Johnson David (see The Johnson David Letters) may be the same person. Now I know that they are. Abbott Costello received the same e-mail.

Not sure how I'll play this now.

Greetings Donald,

I guess I owe you an explanation.

A man met me at Johannesburg Airport the day I was flying in to meet you. He claimed that he was you but he was a much older man, probably in his forties. I knew that he was lying. Then he tried to convince me that he was your attorney but by this time I wasn't going to believe anything he was saying.

I never made it to Durban that day. I turned around and went back home. Donald, I was in fear for my life. I knew that you wouldn't have sent your attorney to the airport. You would have greeted me yourself. Right?

Do you know who this man was. He wrote his name down on a piece of paper which I kept. He called himself Felix Kumo. Do you know this man? If not, how did he know that I was flying in to meet you?

I'll wait for your reply.

Yours,

I have no intentions of resurrecting this game. But maybe I can have Wanda set things up for Abbott Costello and Johnson David.

Dear Wanda Willing,

Compliments of the day, infact i was very happy to here from you, even since i was very scared because your last mail was the one you wrote to me during your depature from chicago.i was wandering what happen because you're trying to assist me to get this money out of south africa.

i did not know Felix kumo because i told you to meet me at durban not johannesburg because peoples are bad.i sent you my copy of my recent picture so that you can recognise me easily.

i am suspecting my attorney but his name is not Felix kumo. all my endeavour shall be successfully very soon hence i have found someone which will help me to trasnfer this money through telegraphic transfer (TT)or through draft to your nominated account in USA.please strive to contact the professional banker Jabu Diko through his email address as soon as possible.Awaiting your soonest response.

Dear Donald Moore,

You don't know anyone by the name Felix Kumo? Then I'm wondering how he knows you and how he knew that I would be in Johannesburg airport that day. It appears that he was trying to intercept me before I caught my connecting flight to Durban that day.

I find this all very puzzling.

Dear Wanda Willing,

Thanks for your mail which i received, infact i was surprise for hearing this bad news. only person knows about this transaction is my attorney, perhaps the problem comes through my attorney because i was wondering why you didn't write me again that is my concern, i was at airport waiting for your arrival but i can't see you infact i later confused.i later think may be you have arrived and book your hotel in durban.i just thanks God that went back safely.

All my effort here is to ensure that this transaction should be finalised.you have tried your best to ensure that i get my late father inheritance. The only easiest way now is to transfer this money through telegraphic transfer (TT) or through draft into your nominated account in USA.you not need to worried again i prefer that it's better.Awaiting soonest response.

Donald Moore.

Dear Donald Moore,

But you're saying that it wasn't your attorney that tried to pick me up at the airport in Johannesburg, right? And your attorney's name isn't Felix, right? I'm just so very confused now I don't know what to do. I will have to give this some serious thought before I make any more decisions regarding this matter.

Actually, what I would really like right now is an explanation as to what transpired at the airport in Johannesburg. Somebody must know.

I'll talk with you soon.

Dear Donald,

Yes, yes. The man that approached me in the airport told me that he was you. But I knew that he was lying because he did not look anything like your picture. He was an older man, probably about 45 years old with glasses. Very well dressed. Then he told me that he was your attorney and that you had sent him to pick me up.

At that point I didn't know what to believe. I was very frightened. This is why I felt that I had to leave at that time. I need time to collect my thoughts.

I hope this answers your questions. Are you any closer to finding out who this man is?

Dear Wanda Willing,

Greetings

Presently i can't be able to find out who that man is,But i believe that Felix Kumo is impostors who claiming that he is Donald Moore, you should have ask him to identify him self or you should have ask him to show you something shows that he is an attorney in south africa, if that you ask him those questions i would have be happy, infact i want this transaction to be finalise within a short time infact i am not happy staying in South Africa any more ,i want this transaction to be hastens.Awaiting your response.

Dear Donald Moore,

I don't know what more I can do. I have traveled halfway around the world (twice) and all I have accomplished is to spend an awful lot of money.

I have to go out of town for a few days on a family matter. This will give me the opportunity to think about what you are asking me to do. I will get back to you when I return home.

Warmest blessings,

I still have no intention of resurrecting this game. But I was very successful in setting up Felix Kumo for Abbott Costello in his bait with Johnson David.
