Dearest One,

Good day and which i believe you will be of great assistants to me that will make the beginning of never-endingfamily relationship. I hope that this proposal will not be an inconvenience or embarrassment to you.I must not hesitate to confide in you this simple and sincere business

My name is Lisa, I am 20 years of age, the only daughter of late Mr and Mrs Joseph Bedard from Republic of Sierra Leonia. My father before his death was a prosperous Cocoa and Gold merchant  before his untimely death, after his business trip to Abidjan -Cote d'Ivoire, to negotiate on a Cocoa and Gold business he wanted to invest in Abidjan - Coted'Ivoire.  My mother died when I was little ,and since then my father took me so special.

Before his death on 12th November 2005 he told me that he has the sum of Seven million, seven hundred thousand United State Dollars.(USD$7.700.000) he deposited with one of the security companies here in cote d,ivoire. that he wanted to use this fund to invest his cocoa business in cote d,ivoire. After the burial of my late father i came down to Abidjan here in Cote D,iviore .

I am just 20 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do.and the  normal option is for me to claim this fund out from the security company and to transfer it to a safe country , through a reliable person for investment  and also continue my education in the country. because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in cote d'ivoire.

The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. as i,m writing to you now i,m writing with tears and pains. all the documents regarding to the deposit of the fund that was given to me by my late father is intact with me.I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards.Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:

1. Can you honestly help me?
2. Can I completely trust you?
3. What percentage of the total amount in question
will be good for you after the money is in your
custody.
Please,Consider this and get back to me as soon as
posible.

Thank you so much and God bless you.

My sincere regards,

Miss Lisa Bedard,

It's important to note that any real people or legitimate organizations mentioned in these scam e-mails have absolutely no connection with this scam!

The scammers never use their real names.
They frequently take on the identity of real people to help them convince you that they are genuine.

This is just a small sampling of the many hundreds of advance fee fraud e-mails received each day here at 419 BAITER headquarters. It is 100% pure B.S. Purity Guaranteed!

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples) but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary / commision, low-interest loan, lottery prize, cheap gold dust / diamonds, work visa, etc.) in return for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get you to willingly send them money.

NOTE TO SPAMMERS: My scam e-mail filtering system is pretty good but it isn't perfect. Occasionally a regular spam e-mail may get mistakenly published here as a 419 scam. This is inadvertent. If you are a spammer and you don't wish to have your spam crap mistakenly published on this website as an advance fee scam, the solution is simple. Don't send me your spam crap.
