I am Barr. Amaka Michael, I am the Personal Attorney to late Engineer Alex Mckinley, a Contractor, who dead two years ago in a car accident.
He worked with a Multi-national Oil Firm in River State, Nigeria. On the 21st of April 2007, my client my client, his wife and their two children were involved in a car accident along Mile 12 road, Porthartcort. I have been looking for the original beneficiary of the said funds but I couldn't fined

I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left behind by my client before they get confiscated by the bank. Particularly, the bank where the deceased had an account valued at about $5.8 million (Five million Eight hundred thousand dollars) has issue me a notice to provide the next of kin of the deceased or have the account confiscated within a shot period of time.

Now my questions are:
1. Can you handle this project?
2. Can I give you this trust?
3. What will be my commission?

The scammers never use their real names.
They frequently take on the identity of real people to help them convince you that they are genuine.
Whatever these scammers tell you, DON'T believe a word of it!!!

This is just a small sampling of the many hundreds of advance fee fraud e-mails received each day here at 419 BAITER headquarters.

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples) but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary/commision, low-interest loan, lottery prize, cheap gold dust/diamonds, work visa, etc.) in return for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get you to willingly send them money.
