Hello
dear, I presume this letter will come to you as a surprise, but as
things unfold, we will know each other better. I will start by
introducing myself to you, I am Mrs. Zuwira Dora Asare, the wife of
chief Patrick Asare, I am from a Moslem home but my marriage to
chief Asare turned me into Christianity. I know you might say that I am
wrong but the fact remains that Chief was a very good man and he loved
me so much, right from my childhood days, he paid my school fees and
when my dad died, he was the only person who assisted my poor family
till his death.. I became his third wife and the only Moslem in their
family, so I was hated by my co-wives and chief kinsmen. Because of
that chief always protected me like an egg. Before chief died last
month July, he called me in his hospital bed and he told me that he has
some money which he deposited in an escrow account at ICB Bank, he
directed me to bring one of his files, inside the file is the document
covering the deposit of the money.. Then he said to me. ."DORA I KNOW
THAT YOU ARE HATED BY MY FAMILY AND WHEN I AM GONE THEY WILL MAKE LIFE
MISERABLE FOR YOU AND YOUR ONLY DAUGHTER", then he gave me the file and
ask me to file for the release of the money if anything happens to him
and he instructed that I should use the money to take care of our
daughter. After the burial of chief, the other two wives connived with
chief brothers and they sent me away from the family house with
nothing. Last week I went to the bank and they confirmed that the money
is still intact, I told them that I want the money to be released to me
but the bank manager said that I should bring an address in your
country for the transfer of the money; according to him, their bank had
an agreement with Chief that the money will be transfered to your
country anytime it will be released. I do not have any relation over
there to help me that is why I need your help. Please help me to secure
my daughter future, because our life is no more safe here.. I want to
get the money released and transfered out of Ghana to your country as
soon as possible, then I will come over and you will assist me to
invest the money in a safe lucrative business there. If you are
interested in helping me I will give you 20% of the money. The total
amount of the money is US$11.5 million us dollars. I want us to be fast
about this before Chief family will get to know about it, as for now no
one outside my family knows about this.
Thanks and God bless your family.
Waiting for your favorable reply
Mrs. Dora Asare

This is just a small sampling of the
many hundreds of advance fee fraud e-mails received each day here at
419 BAITER
headquarters.
There are many different types of 419 scam (examples)
but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary/commision,
low-interest loan, lottery prize,
cheap gold dust/diamonds,
work visa, etc.) in return
for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no
fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get
you to
willingly send them money.
