Meanwhile, on indication of your willingness to handle this transaction sincerely by protecting our interests and upon your acceptance of this proposal, I would furnish you with the full detailed information, procedure,amount involve and mutually agree on your percentage interest or share holding for helping me to secure the release of the deposit and investing the money. It's important to note that any real people or legitimate organizations mentioned in this e-mail have absolutely no connection with this scam!

None of the scammers use their real names.
They frequently take on the identity of real people to help them convince you that they are genuine.
Whatever these scammers tell you, DON'T believe a word of it!!!

This is just a small sampling of the many hundreds of advance fee fraud e-mails received each day here at 419 BAITER headquarters.

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples) but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary/commision, low-interest loan, lottery prize, cheap gold dust/diamonds, work visa, etc.) in return for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get you to willingly send them money.
