[ 419 SCAM E-MAILS ]

Below are just a few random samples of the many 419 scam e-mails that I received in just one day in January, 2008 - (the 14th). Each one of these is a scam of one kind or another.

While there are many e-mails here, these e-mails are just a very small fraction of the actual amount of scam e-mails sent out each day by 419 scammers. Thus, if you've received a suspicious e-mail that isn't listed here on these pages, it doesn't mean that it isn't a scam. In fact, if you receive anything even remotely similar to any of the scam e-mails you see here or if you arrived at this page via an internet search, I can 100% guarantee you...YOU HAVE RECEIVED A SCAM E-MAIL!

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples) but they all promise you something (fortune, job, loan, lottery prize, gold dust, work visa, etc.) in return for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get you to willingly send them money.

It's important to note that any real people or legitimate organizations mentioned in these e-mails have absolutely no connection with these scammers! None of the scammers use their real names. Sometimes they take on the identity of real people to help them convince you that they are genuine. Whatever these scammers tell you, DON'T believe a word of it!!!

It is with due respect that i have decided to contact you believing  you will maintain the trust and confidence that this nature of business requires.
 
Before proceeding, I wish to introduce myself.I am Mr. Allen Abba,a Lawyer by profession,I am the personal Attorney to Engr. James Haines, who worked for the AMEC PLC LONDON,here in my Country.It is quite unfortunate my client, his wife and two kids were involved in the Tsunami Disaster that occurred On Sunday, December 26,2004. May their souls rest in peace. Since his death, I have made several enquiries to your embassy to locate any of my clients extended relatives and this has proved unsuccessful.I came to know about you through an enquiry I was making in the internet, and i found out that you have the same Last name with my client, Which prompted me to contact you in  order to assist in recovering the life insurance policy valued at about 7,500,000 (Seven Million Five hundred thousand British Pounds Sterling)he took with an Insurance Company.
 
The Insurance Company has already issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the Life insurance benefits confisticated within the next 21 official working days.Since i have been unsuccessful in locating his relatives for over 2 years now, I now seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased so that the proceeds of this Life Insurance Policy at 7.5 Million British Pounds Sterling can be paid to you and then you and i can share the money, on the ratio of 55% for me,and 45% for you. I will provide the legal documents that will be used to back up the claim.
