The  lawyer also told me that in the time of the deposit of the funds my late father sign a contract bond with the bank not to release the funds to any of his family member without a foreign beneficiary that is the reason why I and my brother needed your assistance. That is reason I have sent you this mail to ask you to stand in that Chances for us to enable (me and my brother) get our late father money Out of the bank.   The amount involved is 6.7 million usd and I'm ready to give out 40% of the money to you for the great assistance to you offered. It's important to note that any real people or legitimate organizations mentioned in these scam e-mails have absolutely no connection with this scam! The scammers never use their real names. They frequently take on the identity of real people to help them convince you that they are genuine. Whatever these scammers tell you, DON'T believe a word of it!!!

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples) but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary / commision, low-interest loan, lottery prize, cheap gold dust / diamonds, work visa, etc.) in return for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get you to willingly send them money.
