At this time we the entire Haiti students Union in the United Kingdom
are calling out with one voice for help to our home country,we are
worried about our family
members/friends back home in the earthquake zone. Many (students)have
not heard from their family since the tragedy.On January 12, 2010 When
disaster struck, we pray that
our neighbors will help us in our greatest time of need. It is still
unclear how many have been killed in the earthquake, which measured 7.2
magnitude on the Richter
scale, but aid agencies fear thousands are dead.President Rene
Preval(our President)described the scene in Port-au Prince as
'unimaginable.
Presently,Bloodstained bodies are piled high in the streets of the
Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince today amid fears that thousands have
died in a catastrophic
earthquake.Rescuers have been forced to dig through rubble with their
bare hands to free trapped survivors as the Red Cross said up to three
million people may have been
affected.British and international aid agencies are rushing to assist
today as the full horror of the disaster began to emerge.Parliament has
collapsed. The tax office
has collapsed. Schools have collapsed. Hospitals have collapsed and
also churches, Among the fatalities were about 36 UN staffs, including
Hedi Annabi, the Secretary
General's special envoy, who were working inside its five-storey
headquarters when it collapsed.The Roman Catholic Arcbishop of
Port-au-Prince Monsignor Joseph Serge Miot
also died. His body was found in the ruins of the archdiocese office.
What can we do, thousands of miles away? Well,we are stepping up
to help our people of Haiti by getting food and basic supplies to our
home country.

They frequently take on the identity of real people to help make themselves and their scam appear legitimate.

There are many different types of 419 scam (examples)
but they all promise you something (fortune, job with salary /
commision,
low-interest loan, lottery prize,
bargain gold dust / diamonds,
work visa, etc.) in return
for a small 'fee' or some kind of remittance. Of course, there is no
fortune, no job, no loan, no prize to be had. It's just a ploy to get
you to
willingly send them money.

Occasionally a regular spam e-mail will get mistakenly published here

419 scam. This is inadvertent. If you are a spammer and you don't wish

scam, the solution is
simple. Don't mail your crap to harvested e-mail
addresses.
